Ed Big Daddy Roth is one of my all time heroes, and favorite artists. He was the first man to put a design on a t-shirt. I drew this Rat Fink from a bobble head I have. I'm very happy with the result.
I think this would make a cool comic book cover, unfortunately I didn't make a comic book to draw a cover for. I don't know where, but the system broke down somewhere.
I wanted to create an opposite force for Hellboy, except she works for the bad guys. Heaven Girl tries to bring mayhem and destruction where ever she goes. She is basically like every other woman.
So if you have not seen The Dark Knight, you are crazy, it is an amazing movie and has to be seen on the big screen. Here is a page of the man faces of Batman. I did this a couple days before the movie came out, I was a little excited about it.
I picked up a Commando Spawn animated figure on clearance last week or so, and I have to say it is the greatest action figure/statue I have ever seen. Great line of figures by McFarlane toys, who else inspired these two drawings.
This Viking character has been rattling around in my head for about ten years, this is the first time I have drawn him, where you can see his face. His name is Norse son of Thorin. I think he would be a fun character to do a comic about, hopefully someday I will do it.
This sketch was fully inspired by my new hero in the comics industry Eric Canete. My version doesn't hold a candle to his original though. But that's why we practice.
Here"s an original creation, in my regular style. As you ca see, it needs to be a lot simpler if I want to be able to recreate characters over and over. Overall though I was really happy with the result of this drawing.
As you can see I like to recreate a lot of other artists works. I'm currently trying to simplify my style, to make my characters cleaner. Who better to mold my style then Cheeks. I was real happy with the end result of this Wolverine. I am also starting to use color more. Markers to start. Hopefully we will start to see my art envolving.
